Nimule Institute of Health Sciences
Founded on August 15th, 2017, Nimule Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS) stands as a private not-for-profit health training institution fully accredited by the National Ministry of Health, Republic of South Sudan (Registration Code: NMOH/HIS Private 004 | Operational License: NMOH/HIS Private 006).
Located in Nimule Municipality (Olikiwi Boma Sekua East Village), Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria State, our strategic position near the Uganda border makes us accessible to students from South Sudan and neighboring countries, including Uganda and Sudan.
With a rich heritage spanning over 8 years, NIHS has proudly graduated 267 health professionals across five batches during our 1st Graduation Ceremony on November 30, 2024 — comprising 108 Clinical Medicine graduates, 109 Registered Nurses, and 50 Registered Midwives. Today, we serve 200+ current students committed to transforming healthcare in South Sudan and beyond.
